Secretary Job Description
The Secretary, as a member of the Secretariat, shares in the planning and decision-making of that body.  The Secretary is the primary channel of written communications, incoming and outgoing, is responsible for all correspondence, and has the duty of documenting the activities of the Secretariat.  The Secretary should record and distribute the minutes and agenda, mailing or e-mailing them to each member 10 days prior to the next meeting.  The Secretary should also provide a summary of Secretariat meetings for The PRISM.  The Secretary should keep the official, up to date copy of documents of the guidelines and amendments, correspondence, minutes, and agendas.  In addition, the Secretary is responsible for historical record keeping, including minutes, correspondence, past editions of The PRISM, and other Cursillo documents.
